Dear all… Haribol !!!

We are all simply transformations of earth with different bodies and capacities.. some moving and some non moving. coming into existence and associating for some time then anihilated as the body returns to the earth.. we are but dust and dust we will become.. but what of the Soul how to awaken this consciousness….?

This is at the house of  Dev and his sister Phalguni they are from Bangladesh and always come to the temple and support us…they bought the house and wanted to have a nama-hatta to bless it… so they invited some friends and we had a nice program…

This is Madhukar and his band… he invited Ashram maharaj to do a program at the Gandhi hall in Bow and we came to help decorate…here he is playing some conscious rock&roll before maharaja’s class…

 

 

Sripad Ashram Maharaj came all the way from Birmingham… explained the super excellent process of bhakti yoga by which the most degraded person can receive the greatest love given by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu… then he did a massive arati and even went out for a spontaneous harinam !

 

 

One day before going to India we arranged a hall program for Sripad Vana maharaj who was on his way to India coming from a 2 moth preaching marathon in Brazil !….

 

 

We did a drama telling the story of how Sri Krishna appeared in Navadvip in the form of Sacinandana Gourahari…although His activities were extraordinary His identity as the Supreme Lord was unknown to most for some time…here Saci ma (Sita) and Jagannath misra (Manju) are astonished upon finding footprints marked with all auspicious signs…they conclude that it must be that their Salagram sila was walking around and therefore they were liberated!!

 

 

One day a pious brahmana came to Navadvip loudly chanting the names of the Lord…He was welcomed by Jagannath misra and his family they requested him to stay at their house and wanted to serve him in many ways…

 

The brahmana requested for cooking pots and ingredients so that he could cook… but when he was offering the food to Sri Krishna little Nimai (lil Sita) would come and eat the offering… this happened again and again… the brahmana and all the all the family were desperate not knowing what to do with little Nimai…

 

The last time the brahmana cooked and was offering the food… Nimai came again but this time He said “ Oh brahmana you are calling Me therefore I am coming” this time Nimai manifested to the Brahmana His form as Vishnu and the Brahmana was immersed in bliss upon realizing that Nimai was the Supreme Lord Himself !!!

 

This is a program at the temple celebrating  Rama Navami… the day when Sri Ramachandra appeared….we were blessed to have Sripad Nemi maharaj, Ashram maharaj and Giri maharaj at the temple…they explained the character of Sri Rama and the beauty of His transcendental activities in this world (Lila) in this way touching the hearts of all…

We’ve just come back from India! Under the guidance and shelter of our spiritual master Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaj we went to all holy places in Sridham Navadvip along with other 20.000 pilgrims from India and other countries…

Sri Krishna Himself appeared in this Navadvip dham and performed the pastime of delivering all souls indiscriminately and bestowing upon them the topmost blessing of pure spiritual love through the medium of the chanting of Hare-Krishna Mahamantra. Here Sriman Mahaprabhu and his dearmost friends bless all pilgrims who came from all directions with the sole aspiration of receiving that transcendental gift…

 

 

Everyday we would leave at about 5-am and go to each of the nine islands of Sridham Navadvip. A beautifully decorated palanquin was prepared for Mahaprabhu, here we cross the holy Ganges towards the island of Mayapur…

 

Here Padmanabha maharaja is absorbed in speaking of the beautiful pastimes of Gouranga at Srila Bhakti Vallabha Tirtha Maharaja’s Math in Mayapur… meanwhile Sita is absorbed in the pastime above Maharaja’s head depicting the passing away of Jaganath Misra as the forlorn Sachi ma weeps in separation at his bed side…

 

 

I took this picture… love those hanging vegetables… I think that’s loki… as everyone is packed into the holy place of ‘Surabhi Kunj’ where the mother cow Surabhi sat under a tree doing her bhajan  there is an ecstatic atmosphere calling out for the mercy of the most munificent incarnation of God Sri Nityananda Prabhu…

 

This is Surabhi Kunj where Sri Nityananda Prabhu has opened the market of the holy name and is giving it only for the price of one’s faith…overjoyed by the good news all devotees raise their arms!  Vaisnava Vijay !!…

Srila Gurudev explains the reasons of the appearance of Sriman Mahaprabhu to establish the Yuga Dharma… to spread the chanting of the holy names… the Hare Krsna Maha mantra, answering the call of his beloved devotee Sri Adwaita Acarya, to give the purest love of Godhead to all, and to experience the moods of love of his top most devotee Srimati Radhika…  

 

Four devotees took the highest order of sannyasa… this means complete dedication to the lotus feet of the spiritual master… Here Bhaktivedanta Vishnu maharaja is begging alms as a symbol of his renunciation and dependence on Sri Guru for his maintenance both materially and spiritually…

Srila Gurudeva powerfully conducted the ceremony which consisted of an ecstatic kirtan where 20,000 people all danced and chanted the names of Krishna as the abhishek was being performed.. The air was surcharged with with so much devotional energy as simultaneously around Navadvip in every temple and home all were engaged in the celebrations of honoring the wonderful appearance of Sriman Mahaprabhu.
